Esthetics License - 600 Hours

The curriculum for students enrolled in the Esthetician Program consists of technical instruction and practical training covering all practices of esthetics, including all aspects related to non-invasive manual, electrical and chemical facials affecting only the uppermost layers of the facial skin; client consultation, intake procedures, contraindications, professionalism, client record keeping, massaging the face and body, salon/spa skills; use of packs and masks, health and safety, injury prevention, product knowledge and chemistry, principles of electricity, understand the use of galvanic, high frequency, steamer, sprayer, vacuum and brushing equipment, anatomy/physiology, histology, bacteriology, client/practitioner protection, disease prevention, methods of disinfection and sanitation; application of make-up and eyelashes; tinting of eyelashes and brows; hair removal techniques for face and body; body hair lightening (except on the scalp); communication skills, ethics, basic tax information and basic success skills for business.
